I’ve configured the index.php so that the site uses the ‘light’ (blue) version of the template. When I go to http://pedalinfaith.com (my site), the ‘light’ version is used as expected. However, when I go to http://www.pedalinfaith.com, the ‘default’ (brown) version is used.
What could be causing this? How can I correct this?
Thanks.

April 4, 2007 at 3:27 am #217224The browser considers pedalinfaith.com and http://www.pedalinfaith.com are 2 different domains. Therefore, you could see the different result when viewing your site like that. The good method is you could set your live site config to http://www.pedalinfaith.com and redirect all request to http://pedalinfaith.com to http://www.pedalinfaith.com.
April 6, 2007 at 4:44 pm #217387My hosting company already handles the redirection for me.
However, my problem seems to be a bit more complicated even. All of the sudden today, neither http://pedalinfaith.com nor http://www.pedalinfaith.com are showing the correct (light blue) color. However, the problem appears only when using Firefox. Both URLs work correctly on IE and on Netscape.
Is there some special tweak I need to make in Joomla or in the template to accommodate Firefox?

April 6, 2007 at 5:00 pm #217389Once it works with IE and Nescape then It normally works with FF
Have you tried to clear the cache?April 6, 2007 at 5:40 pm #217392Yes, when I saw the problem, I immediately cleared the cache to see if that was the glitch. But I still see the default color in FF, not the color set in my index.php.

I see light blue in Firefox 2.02, this is the same shade of blue I get in Internet explorer 7 so it appears to be rendering correctly here.
