    Hello,

    Until now I was working with the demo data shipped with JA Job Board.
    Since yesterday, I published some jobs for test.
    None of them are not displayed in job lists and they won’t be found by the search system.
    All these posts marked with a “Publish Date” which is always 1999-11-30 …
    In the DB, I also found out that all new posts has a NULL server_effected_date. That is not the case for the demo data shipped with the Job board.
    I am developing at localhost and can’t send access keys. So does someone met such a case?

    Another question: server_effected_date is a DATETIME field. Why not a TIMESTAMP?

    Additional Info:
    localhost
    Apache/2.2.8 (Linux/SUSE)
    PHP 5.2.12
    MySql 5.0.51a
    Joomla! 1.5.22 Stable
    JB 1.5.0 Stable

    In advance thanks for any hints.

    Dear hcharly,

    1. None of them are not displayed in job lists and they won’t be found by the search system.
    =>
    You are posted jobs in FrontEnd or BackEnd?
    Please change the date format to the system default (%Y-%m-%d) for closer check.

    2. Another question: server_effected_date is a DATETIME field. Why not a TIMESTAMP?
    =>
    We using server_effected_date as DATETIME field for easy store and calculations.

    Hello Vinhcv,
    Thanks for your answer.
    You’re right. 🙂
    This error is in relation with the date format.

    I posted from both FrontEnd and BackEnd. Date format was %d.%m.%Y %H:%i

    I’ll make another post about Special Characters.
    Seems there are some minor problems with i18n.

    Many thanks. This helps me a lot.
