    Hi,

i have a fresh installation with the full package (quick start) of teline iv. at the beginning, the display was perfcect.

If you change the display of content-mass-top (little icons left of the section), the main page display is wrong. (look at picture).

i didn’t change anything in the backend, excect deleting demo-users.

by the way, how can i delete the display-options of content-mass-top in the frontend? (setting icon right and display icons left).

    thanks!
    Sascha

    dear funkytown,

This issue seems to happen particularly on your site. For a complete fix, please send me you joomla & ftp account.

For your second question, there are 2 ways to del there 3 icons set:
    – go to module manager and unpublic these modules: JA News – Linear Layout, JA News – Pulse Layout.
    – edit layouts/default.xml , change
    <block name=”content-mass-top” style=”raw” type=”tabs”>ja-news-1,ja-news-2,ja-news-3</block>
    to
    <block name=”content-mass-top” style=”raw” type=”tabs”>ja-news-1</block>

    thanks for helping

Sure you are waiting, Sascha. But you have to realize that your expected answer is coming from South East Asia, where people are sound asleep for the time beeing 😉

In the meantime, why not check your Module manager > JA News Frontpage > Module parameters?

Your profile selection is probably sidebar. Change it to something else, like default, headline or teleineiv. Don’t touch the theme settings before you have chosen a new profile. See if that might help. Tschüss!

It is also the Christmas holidays so the team will probably be off until the 28th.

Might be worth re-sending your details or raising a ticket (including your ftp and admin logons) so we can have a look.

Check Template manager > Profiles > Home. Under Global settings, Hide Main content block may have been set to Yes. Switch it to No and see if that helps.

And make sure you have the most current version of the template and modules. There were a few updates on 24th and 26th December:

first of all: sorry for my impatient.
@steinar: my modul settings are “default”. changig settings doesn’t fix the problem of main page, but the problem with the another sites is solved.
@phil: I updated but it doesn’t fix the problem with the main page. I did send the account details to hungnd (see posting).

the problem is, that my side has to be ready end of week. if I can’t realizise with this template, than I have to be another one.
    thanks for helping.

If you PM a particular moderator (in this case hungnd) then only he can see your details. If you raise a ticket with all your details then all the developers/moderators can look at your problem via the ticket system. It may be that hungnd is not in at the moment which is probably why you have no reply. If you raise a ticket then you will get a response.

I probably shouldn’t argue with you if you say so, but I can easily replicate on my site what you illustrates with your screen dump. So please bear with me and try the following settings in Module manager > JA News Frontpage:

    Position: sl1-l
    Parameters:
Module Class Suffix: newsfp [with a space in front of the suffix]
    Profile selection: default
    Content settings: Joomla content
    Theme settings/Theme Selection: default

Then empty your site’s AND your browser’s cache and see if anything changes. OK?
