is there any way around this? A yes or no answer will send me on my way, but I don’t want to go wasting alot of time on something that will not work. (I am trying to install the POLARIS template.)
Names must contain only ASCII letters (a-z,A-Z), digits (0-9), underscore, dot and dash.

Could you provide some more information?
When did those messages appear? Did you got that trouble while installing other template?
