    Hi Folks

I’ve recently completed a new site in English and I’m currently using the latest JoomFish to translate the entire thing into France.

Everything is now complete except two things, which appear to be JA related, rather than normal translation issues.

Here is the top of the site in English:

and here’s how it looks on the French version:

Could somebody let me know which files I need to edit to change the ‘You are here’ wording into French on the French language version of the site?

    Many Thanks
    Chris

    Hi tienhc

Many thanks for that. I had to install the en-GB language file again, and then copy this and make the translations into French.

Everything is working fine, except when I have to use any accents in the translations:

The ‘Vous etes ici’ should really have an accent on the first e:
    “Vous êtes ici”
However, if I include the accent I get the following problem:

    Thanks again

    Hello Chris!

The problem is from the charset/encoding of the file, you try to change via the Development tools, I ‘m using the dreamwave: how to change this one: press ctr + j http://superuser.com/questions/46693/dreamweaver-reverts-to-western-encoding-after-its-been-changed-to-utf8

may be the problem is fixed 🙂
    GOod luck
