    I just want to download all the files required for the T3 Blank.

    Every time I click on the check marks except the Quickstart I just get the t3_framework_2_for_joomla_1.7(2011_version).zip which does not install. I get the “JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file” error.

    Most of the time that I try and download one item at a time I get a new white browser window with the text “You are downloading this file. Please download again in 2 minute.” Maybe this just needs to be translated into better English. It doesn’t make sense to me, because nothing is downloading so therefore “You are downloading this file…” is incorrect. If I have to “Please download again in 2 minute.” (missing the “s” on minute) then I am technically not “…downloading this file”. In addition, there should be some description to click reload to retry and download the file or have a download button to re-download. It just doesn’t make sense.

    So there is technically 2 issues I have and I can’t figure out why JA makes this so difficult.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Hi modernmagic,

    I don’t think downloading is that difficult because it worked for me…do you use any download manager? or which browser you using?

    Thanks

    Just like everything else in my life I must be the only person in the world that has this issue because it worked for you. 🙂 LOL

    Then I wonder why I get “JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file” error when I try and install the “t3_framework_2_for_joomla_1.7(2011_version).zip” file?

    i think the main problem is your downloaded package is corrupted.then please check you having all technical requirements installed properly

    I figured it out. Due to zero description on the download page, I did not know that the “t3_framework_2_for_joomla_1.7(2011_version).zip” had to be unzipped and then I could navigate into each folder and upload the individual zip files for each extension separately.

    IMHO, joomlart’s site is not as user friendly as other template clubs. For example, other sites would include the words “UNZIP_FIRST” in the name of the download file. So I was expecting “UNZIP_FIRST_t3_framework_2_for_joomla_1.7(2011_version).zip” or similar.

    nice thing about joomla, if you try hard enough almost everything can be figured out.

    Now that it is all loaded, I need to figure out how to have a repeating background image in the T3 blank template.

    body#bd #ja-wrapper {background: none url(templates/ja_t3_blank/themes/isl_green_tan/images/bg-main.jpg);}

    is not working.

    Even if I paste the url into Firebug, the code doesn’t save so I can see the change. It just gets automatically deleted out of Firebug. 🙁

    You can use

    body#bd #ja-wrapper {
    background: none url(templates/ja_t3_blank/themes/isl_green_tan/images/bg-main.jpg);
    background-repeat: none;
    }

    You can use
    background-repeat: repeat-x;
    background-repeat: repeat-y;

    please test and see

    Thanks

    I tried that but the override doesn’t work. See screenshot of firebug.
