February 20, 2010 at 7:04 am #148856The Breadcrumbs module is enabled but this template does not show the current location of the article (homepage or section). Nothing displays, it’s blank.

February 20, 2010 at 8:18 am #333209Thanks for your offer but providing admin access to our web site is against our organization policy.
We have implemented Joomla web sites since the Mambo era and worked on many templates since then. We are very familiar with the Joomla environment.
Is there anything you can think of? Any hints?
Thanks

February 20, 2010 at 8:24 am #333211I am sorry, i dont have time for guesses here. Besides it works on the demo site and so it should work everywhere. Did you check the breadcrumbs module settings? is it published?
I would suggest you to raise a support ticket and provide your access in there and get the fix done. It would be difficult to solve your problem this way.

February 20, 2010 at 8:46 am #333213Yes the Breadcrumbs module was published but I just found the cause of the problem. The “Menu Assignment” option for the Breadcrumbs module was set to “None”.
It’s working now.
Thank you so much for your help and your understanding of our IT policies.

February 20, 2010 at 8:57 am #333216Dear jardin,
Glad you found out the fix. Yaa, it was a silly fix. I do understand your IT policy. However, we also have limitation to provide help here, Next time may be you can provide us with screenshots of the backends, which i feel should not be a problem. May be that would help us in checking out the issues.
regards
Arvind
