My apologies if this has been posted already but I’m not sure what the source of this problem is.
I believe everything has been enabled, but every time I attempt to submit a comment, both signed in as a user or as a guest I get the notification:
“You must input your comment”
It is driving me mad.
I’m sure it is a quick fix, so thank you for help!

March 26, 2011 at 11:35 am #383395Hi,
Do you give me a link to your website? And you give me 2 file, I need to check them:
– <joomla url>componentscom_jacommentcontrollerscomments.php file
– <joomla url>administratorcomponentscom_jacommentcontrollerscomments.php fileMarch 27, 2011 at 8:59 pm #383497Hi Khoand,
The website is http://www.millennialhr.com, and the rest of the info I sent by private message.
I’m sure there must be something small that I am overlooking so if anybody out there can let me know what I’ve missed, I’d appreciate it.

March 30, 2011 at 7:01 am #383950Hi,
I try comment your website. But it stops when it show “Loading….” message. So I don’t find down your problemMarch 30, 2011 at 12:14 pm #384053I have the same problem. On IE, it stop when it show “Loading…” and with Firefox it show “You must input your comment”
March 30, 2011 at 2:19 pm #384082I tried the same thing last night.
I was using Firefox, and then I noticed some threads talking about JA Comment being a little different with IE, and I got “Loading” as well. I even tried Google Chrome but it was similar to Firefox and I was told to input my message.
So I’m still stuck. Is there something with my site that could be causing the “loading”? I submitted a ticket, though. I’d really like to keep JA Comment.

March 31, 2011 at 4:39 am #384195Hello,
This is problem between JAComment and plugin language filter of joomla 16. I turned off plugin language filter in your site and JAComment is running fine now.
I’ve reported the bug : http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JAECCOMCOMMENTJVI-62.
We will release with this bug fixed in next version of JAComment.
Best Regards.

Thank you for your good support!

April 1, 2011 at 8:43 am #384425Hello,
I found out the solutions:
Please open file components/com_jacomment/themes/default/html/comments/head.php
find the code default in line :
jac_base_url : '<?php echo JURI::base(true)."/";?>',
siteurl : '<?php echo JURI::base(true)."/index.php?tmpl=component&option=com_jacomment&view=comments";?>',
then replace it to
jac_base_url : '<?php echo JRoute::_("index.php");?>',
siteurl : '<?php echo JRoute::_("index.php?tmpl=component&option=com_jacomment&view=comments");?>',Best Regards.
April 2, 2011 at 5:47 pm #384620Didn’t work for me 🙁 but work fine without language filter

April 4, 2011 at 7:53 am #384725Hello,
Please use 2 attached files:
com_jacomment/site/asset/js/ja.comment.js
com_jacomment/themes/default/html/comments/head.phpand override it to your installation.
Remember to clean cache and select default template of jacomment before checking.
Best Regards.
April 4, 2011 at 3:26 pm #384810I tried both installing these files, but nothing changed.
Both with IE9 and Firefox 4 and “CAPTCHA on” for some strange reason when I try to comment as a guest and click “submit Comment” it just displays a LOADING…. message for ever. If I refresh the page I find out that no comment was added.
I tried disabling the language filter plugin, but to no avail.April 4, 2011 at 3:58 pm #384812<em>@nghiatd 232091 wrote:</em><blockquote>Hello,

It work fine with language filter but I have to refresh the page or it will show “loading” forever. tested with explorer 8 and firefox.
Thank you again.
