Helo ,
This forum has been of great help so far ,I found a vertical menu component from swmenu , however now there is a problem .
When the menu slides out on the right , its content slide below the contents of ja_news
It works fine in IE 7 , however in Firefox and safari , the z-index of ja-col1 is below that of ja_news .
I have changed the original template ( brought right column to left ) , However I have tested this in original template as well . Same problem resolves .
I have manually tried to change z-index but no use .
Can you help in this
Thank you

July 30, 2008 at 3:31 pm #263083Hi joomlatv
do you have aliv url we could look at.
I appreciate that the screenshots may help but it’ll be better to look at a live site to diagnose the problem.
July 30, 2008 at 7:27 pm #263108anisjolly , its on my localhost , not live so far .
I am running frontpage slideshow , the problem in FF is only with Frontpage slide show and JA_NEWS slideshow(top most news in ja_dravity ) which is probably using dhtml . So I guess somehow menu’s z-index needs to go higher
how , i dont knowany rough ideas ?

It ‘s difficult for us when can’t view your site , I only can put a advice for you :
You use FF then install firebug addons for it. You use firebug to detect the css for menu.
good luck ! -
