Hello-

JA job board looks good. Do you have any plans to implement zipcode radius searching for jobs (only concerned with USA zip codes right now)? Thanks!

I have raised this as an improvement in JA Job Board roadmap. This type of search can be combined with distance search, eg: job seeker can search for a jobs available within 10 miles from specific location.

Anyway, we need to survey about how easy to gather & store geographical information into the Job Board. It will need a huge database to store such information for US as well as other supported countries.

I sometimes used the data from geodatas.net for a zipcode radius search in CB and JomSocial. I would do te same in Job Board. Is the search code in Job Board encoded or may I change the code?

Hi guy,

JobBoard does not support “zipcode radius search”, you have to customize code of jobboard to do this.

If the files are not encoded with ioncube – so I can do it, always will be fine.

Hey Guys

Just wondering, if anyone does find a way of including a zip/postal code distance search into JB, please let me know how you achieved it… this is a must have feature on any good job website.

or if there are any plans to include this in a coming update, let me know so that i dont have to continue looking for methods to include such a feature.
