JA Amazon S3 and Cloudfront CDN component is now available for Joomla 2.5.x. Its a bug fix and improvement release. Users can now Remove local files post upload or restore the same from the cloud. Please check the changelog and update to the latest version. Make sure to take backup before updating and recommended to use JA Extensions Manager for upgrades

JA JobBoard component version 1.5.4 for Joomla! 1.5 has been released. Its a bug fix, improvement and new feature release. All users are requested to upgrade to the latest version. Please check the detailed changelog for the updates in this version.

Please note that this is the final release of this component for Joomla 1.5.x, we have resumed work for JobBoard 2.5, which will be released to support Joomla 2.5.x. We would not be releasing any further update for the Joomla 1.5.x version then after.

JA Comment Component version 2.5.0 for Joomla 2.5.x has been released today. Its a major bug fix release and fully compatible with Joomla 2.5.x. Please take backup before upgrading from Joomla! 1.7 version

Upgrade steps :

• Manual Upgrade is required for JA Comment Plugin : as upgrading with JA extension Manager Component have bugs. Users are advised to upgrade manually (take due backup) by installing the new version over the older one. For remaining plugins / module or component JA Extensions Manager can be safely used for upgrade.

Dear Members,

28 of our Joomla 1.7 templates are now updated to Joomla 2.5.1 and released in the downloads and demo sites updated. Remaining templates would be released over the time. Please make sure to take due backup of your sites before applying any update. If you are updating from Joomla 1.7 to Joomla 2.5.x please update the JA extensions manager first and then use the same to update related products. If you have customized the templates or T3 plugin files, you should be careful to avoid overwrites.

More than 30+ extensions (modules/ plugins) provided complimentary with the templates are also updated and exported to respective template download folder, the same be updated too along with the template for optimum performance.

QuickStarts for all templates also have been updated to include Joomla 2.5. and are located in the template's download area.

T3 Framework and Free GPL templates Update

As has been tradition at JA, we update the free GPL templates on priority and having added JA Elastica this year, the number of free templates now stands at 3, as all would agree it's not the number game, its the features that matters most

• Simpler folder structure. Core & local folders replaced with etc and themes folder. Take backup and convert the folders to new structure from template backend - please note server limitations may hinder this operation.
• Profile assignment for languages.
• Improved implementation for Google Web Fonts 2.0
• RTL option removed from global settings, now enabled by installing arabic (RTL language) and making it default
• Typo.css file in the base theme removed.
• Android Layout added
• More options to manage layouts

JA Typo plugin version 1.1.4 for Joomla 1.7 has been released. Its a routine bug fix release. Users are requested to check the changelog and upgrade to fix any upgrade to latest version to resolve the issues with the earlier version. JA Typo button plugin should be installed separately for editor support.

JA Comment Component version 1.1.1 for Joomla 1.7 has been released last week. Its a major release with many improvements, new features and routine bug fixes. Comes with K2 component support in Joomla 1.7

Whats new :

• 1. K2 support. Use JA Comment with K2 component.
• 2. Support for K2 user avatar.
• 3. Kunena avatar support update.
• 4. Now send email notification to article authors (including K2 articles/ authors).
• 5. Support for AlphaUserPoints component user avatars.
• 6. Option to remove comment count from article view.
• 7. Now can put guest comments only to approval process, skipping registered users from approval.
