I can't update JA ACM module and Plugin Ajax JA content type.
Template is also listed in updates screen (v 1.0.1) with upgrade to 1.0.3, but when I look into template settings there's information I'm running latest version already :-)
Please advise!

You can update the template using JA extension manager component.
Install the extension and configure it with steps given here : https://joomlart.com/update-steps
If you want to install latest version manually, you can download the package from here : https://www.joomlart.com/member/downloads/joomlart/joomla-templates/ja-playschool

Updated JA ACM module using JA extension manager. Great product, btw! Been using Joomla since Mambo days, made hundreds of websites, never knew of this brilliant component :-)
Now, template and Ajax module are still in the Update list of Joomla, and in JA ext. man. no updates are available. Should I just disregard what core updater says?

if you already updated them, you can ignore this, or clear cache from update list will remove them.
Did try clearing cache... still there!
