I have a client who says that they do not see any traffic from us on Google Analytics. Would the referring domain be any different than our normal domain? Or is there any other reason why that may be? (We get a good amount of traffic, so there is no reason why they would not have gotten any clicks)

    Hi
Kindly check the Google analytics track script is present on your site as your question is regarding the all pages track data. If the Google an. script not added on your site you would not see any data there.

There is no other reason. Once it added you can see your own live presence in Analytics.

    Hi Pankaj,
I don't mean our own analytics. I'm talking about the clients. We use Ad Agency to get people to click on banners to go to our clients' sites, and they often say they do not see clicks in their analytics. And please know, the one I'm talking to now is a very large agency who has their analytics set up correctly.

      Hi
Kindly share the zone ID, Ad ID and page URL on which if you open the clicks are not counted as you mentioned the Google analytics it is confusion. In agency the same URL has been used for Google ads. It is not possible to check the Google analytics as the access is not present. But for a simple test you can put the Ad code in custom html module place it on your site and check the frontend click . If this is counted or not.

If the clicks issue in the Agency data kindly provide the request information

      Zone 162
      Ad 532
Ad is on home page of our site.

As for a custom HTML ad, the only place I see that is for an affiliate ad - is that what you mean?

      Thanks.

        Hi
Kindly submit the admin URL as /administrator redirect back to Home page.
By custom html i mean if your ad is a Google ad and it not counting click on Google. you can place the ad code in the custom html module of Joomla to see if it work there.

          Hi Pankaj,
I just checked with the client and they are still not seeing any clicks in google analytics, not even yours or mine. Can you think of any other reason that might be happening? I can't think of any other reason...

            Hi
We can not check the Google analytics part as the code you used directly from the Google tag and the same is used on your site. Can you confirm the problem that clicks count issue you refer is only for Google analytics or count not working your site at Agency.
As in Agency it only picks the same URL at frontend and Google analytics should count it if user click since the url is same.

We see clicks in Ad Agency - it's just the client that does not see clicks in Google Analytics. The client thought that maybe we use a redirect domain, which means they wouldn't find our domain in their reports because the click was being routed through another domain, but I don't think that is the case...

              Hi
In this case it is not issue of Agency as the URL is same. What you can do is copy the ad code given by the client
Publish it via custom html module and check as its directly the ad link that is same on the site.
