I was able to get the login and register up on content-mass-top, but register is a 404 and login is 404.
I don't want anything under this opening page to show, no Romances Fans, no We are No. 1, no footers, nothing but a login screen to register or login.
Everything is a 404!

Hi
It is sue to change in the template item
you disabled the Jomsocial menu
I also found module suffix is missing the Hello me module
You can check it now
Your site also have social folder in root and jomsocial also using same alias so it make issue. kindly remove that to use Jomsocial page.
I don't understand that you are saying the social folder is in root? I can move anything, but I don't see any social folder.
How do I remove all the rest of the front page? I only want login and register there.
register and login goes to 404 page.

You can unpublish the other module that you do not want to show.
Social folder your site has a social folder or file that is why it open this page https://liberty342.com/social
It is not from template side.
Where did that social folder come from? It does not exist on my server.
cordigital
Hi
Is this not your site URL > https://liberty342.com/social
? it is from your server
Um, no it is not, as you see it is a 404 page. liberty342.com is the regular site. I don't know why the software picked this missing social folder.
How do I get it to look at it's folders to register and login and use it??
cordigital
Hi
i am not sure as it can be custom from your side and not part of the template.
You can check the site folder and remove the social folder if you not added it.
There is no "social" folder on my server. Where would the custom setting be set? I did nothing except run the jomsocial quickstart!
Why does it look for a "social" folder? It does not exist.
cordigital
Kindly check it is not showing the social folder now and its normal site pages.
PS : for each new question topic make a new thread on forum if u face any issue on setup.
I am so sorry, I don't see it working. From the home page, I click register and it goes to a 404 page here
https://liberty342.com/social/register
If I use the admin account and try to log in, it is another 404 page
https://liberty342.com/component/users/?task=user.login&Itemid=254
Nothing is working.
cordigital
Please check the submitted URL is not from site
Kindly ask your hosting provider as we do not have this page in site or template.
That is what I am trying to tell you, there is no "social" folder on my site. That is why it is 404.
There is nothing to delete. It does not exist. The links that came from the template goes to these "social/" pages.
cordigital
Yes , i already checked it, i thought u want to know why there is 404
So how can I fix? If there is nothing for me to delete, why are all the links in the template and the software going to "social".
Hi
Your site have Menu item with ALias social
Here :
All toolbar menu item in JS Toolbar will load under frontpage menu item only if there placed in JS Toolbar.
When I unpublished SOCIAL, it still goes to 404 pages in Register and Login. But no longer to a Social folder!!
Where are the pages to register and login?
cordigital
Hi
Why to unpublish the menu? it must be published for login frontpage
i am not understanding the issue as site working normal and Jomsocial frontpage menu item must be published to use Jomsocial
You said I had SOCIAL menu item which created the folder \social and gave the 404 errors.
So I unpublished it. Do I need to put it back?
This site has never worked even once!! How can I get any of this to work?
