There is no "social" folder on my server. Where would the custom setting be set? I did nothing except run the jomsocial quickstart!
Why does it look for a "social" folder? It does not exist.
cordigital Kindly check it is not showing the social folder now and its normal site pages.

I am so sorry, I don't see it working. From the home page, I click register and it goes to a 404 page here

If I use the admin account and try to log in, it is another 404 page

That is what I am trying to tell you, there is no "social" folder on my site. That is why it is 404.
There is nothing to delete. It does not exist. The links that came from the template goes to these "social/" pages.

So how can I fix? If there is nothing for me to delete, why are all the links in the template and the software going to "social".
Hi Your site have Menu item with ALias social Here :
All toolbar menu item in JS Toolbar will load under frontpage menu item only if there placed in JS Toolbar.
When I unpublished SOCIAL, it still goes to 404 pages in Register and Login. But no longer to a Social folder!!
Where are the pages to register and login?
cordigital Hi Why to unpublish the menu? it must be published for login frontpage i am not understanding the issue as site working normal and Jomsocial frontpage menu item must be published to use Jomsocial

So I unpublished it. Do I need to put it back?
This site has never worked even once!! How can I get any of this to work?
cordigital Hi The social many item was issue before when u set it in redirection. Now I can not see any error there.
If you have any error please onnly point that issue with steps to replicate .

cordigital Hi Yes it is working. make sure URL rewrite is off as when it ON your server making issue maybe in your htaccess

You are welcome! For more new questions could you please open a new thread for each different question as this thread already have very long discussion. It also help our community.
PS : for footer you can unassigned the module that u do not want to show on Home page.
