I used JA Resume Photographer as a template for my website. I'd like to add a blog to the website. I managed to add a menu item to the sidebar, but I can't find out how to add content.
Can you poinmt out how to do that?

Hi Marleen,

You can follow these steps:

1/ Access Backend of your site >> Articles and create articles for you blog: /administrator/index.php?option=com_content&view=articles

2/ Go to Menus >> select menu you want >> create a new menu item with type of Category Blog and select to show the articles you create in step 1.

    saguaros I followed the steps you suggested. Made the article. Went to step 2. But I can't find out how to actually put content in the blog.
    What am I missing here?

        I have checked and see that you are selecting the layout with the module position. So, the article can not show on the blog menu.
        In this case, you can select the default or ja resume_no sidebar layout here:

        If you want to use other layouts, you need to use the modules and select the module position here:

        Also, you need to configure the Menu Assignment.
