Automated emails to users who have been approved by admins

We have set up Jomsocial as invitation only, which works fine. However once the admin approves the invitation we would like the user to receive an automated email telling them that they may go ahead and register and with a link included. Is this doable?

Never mind after more testing it appears that automated emails are generated after all.
