Hi!
I have a incorrect display on iPhone X of the LIFESTYLE2 site . Please see the attached pictures. Instead, the display is correct on Android devices and on desktop.
The site is updated, except the template, because if I try to update it, the whole external appearance of the site is broken. Unless you can suggest a way to update without ruining the current aesthetic.
Can you help me please?

Cheers

Hi

I don't have an iphone to test unfortunately - do you get the same on an ipad?

With the template update - were the positions widths / assignments messed up or was it styling that was the problem?

Cheers

    Hi!
With template update, I can not say which of the two problems, I only know that if I update the template, all the messed up looks.
Now I'm looking for another iPhone or iPad, to confirm.
    Thanks
    Cheers

    Thanks

If you can advise me about the ipad - as I have one of those

Also after that would I later today be able to take a copy of the site and install it on my machine?

    Cheers

        Hi!
I verified on iPad that the error of displaying is the same of that of the iPhone. I can't attach iPad screenshot, but the screenshot is the same.
So, you can work, kindly, on iPad if you have one of it.
        Cheers

I need to test the site locally and update it to the latest version - I'm fairly sure this cropped up previously on older template versions

Unfortunately I can't get your site to load from the akeeba backup

At the moment I have no front end with an a 404 on home page and no admin panel access

Can you try uploading a copy of the site to some temporary disk space?

        Thanks

If I try to use the data that I have inserted in the form of this topic, both the frontend and the backend appear to me.

To do this I have to install Xampp on my PC? Do I need to download a backup from Akeeba and install it in Xampp with an Angie script?
          Cheers

          Hi

I'm talking about taking an akeeba file and creating a new version of the site
At the moment I can't re-create the site

You can upload an akeeba file to different types of hosting environment e.g. you could create a sub folder on a live server you don't have to install a local server

However using / creating a localhost is a good idea to know as it does offer flexibility for a developer

          Cheers

          Hi!
I installed the web site in another hosting. I already now that if I upgrade the lifestyle template, the layout may get messed up.
Do you want the credentials of this new hosting to test yourself?
Or tell me what I have to do.
          Thank you!
          Cheers

          Hi

If you don't mind me breaking the test site - can you provide new access details

Can you remove the details for the original site and add the new details there

I will upgrade the site template and I will if not already present install akeeba pro so I can restore the test site to previous site version if required - is this ok?

I want to get the site updated and then test - if there is a problem with ios devices I can then ask the developers to take a look

          Cheers

          Hi!
I added the new site access details.
I seems there are already some backups of Akeeba, but in reality there is none.
Please make a backup of site before proceeding.
I remind you that you can also use an iPad to take the tests, because I checked it.
          Thanks
          Cheers

          Hi

I have updated the template on the test site - is there anything wrong with it layout wise?

This evening I don't have access to my ipad as being borrowed by my nephew - so I can't test unfortunately

Is the problem with your ios devices still there?

          Cheers
          Paul

          Hi!
The display error is still there, as you can see in attached images. We have deleted the browser cache of iPhone.

          Cheers

          Hi

Can I pass the joomla and ftp details for the site to developers?

I will need them to take a look

          Thanks
          Paul
