Can you remove the details for the original site and add the new details there

I will upgrade the site template and I will if not already present install akeeba pro so I can restore the test site to previous site version if required - is this ok?

I want to get the site updated and then test - if there is a problem with ios devices I can then ask the developers to take a look

I have updated the template on the test site - is there anything wrong with it layout wise?

This evening I don't have access to my ipad as being borrowed by my nephew - so I can't test unfortunately

Is the problem with your ios devices still there?

          Hi,
          First of all - please make a FULL backup of your website, then update your template, compare the custom.css files and if you find the difference, add css code from working website.

          Please remember about the backup, if something goes wrong during the update you'll be able to restore your website.
