Dear Sir

I want to display an image in the footer at position “footer-1” so that when i clicked on it a larger version of the image appears in a lightbox effect, how can i do this please?

I have try to install third-party plugins but seems there is a javascript conflict. can i use the modal effect of Ja Fubix to do this? and if yes what code should i use?

Hi 261284,

In this case, I suggest you to use our JA Popup plugin which allows you to display the images in popup view (lightbox popup). There are just 3 simple steps you need to do:

1. Install, enable the JA Popup plugin. Downloadable link at http://www.joomlart.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2111

2. Refer our JA Popup plugin’s userguide at http://joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-plugins/ja-popup-plugin

3. Create a Custom HTML module at one of footer position with the embed codes of JA Popup after reading the userguide above. Make sure you select Editor – None in Default Editore option of Global Configuration.

i.e: Here is a sample format of JA Popup embed codes:
