With this update the JA Social feed plugin now supports all the popular social channels, making it easier for anyone to pull content from social channels into Joomla content or K2 content. On top of that, it can either be automatic pull or manual updates. With multiple profiles inbuilt, you can pull public feeds of any social account of interest to your website users.

1. Pull content from social channels with JA Social Feed
Adding content manually will take you lots of time, in addition, you will need to pull content automatically and for that, a tool will be required and JA Social Feed plugin is all you need. The Joomla plugins allows you import content from 8 most popular socials sites AUTOMATICALLY (Facebook, Twitter, and save the content as Joomla or K2 articles, it has lots of options to get content your ways and multiple options for images where you can configure to display images or not, save images to your server or not, filter content to import based on image size, etc. No coding required for sure. The plugin supports the most popular social channels, including:

For each social channel, it has different settings depend on features and content type of that social channel.

There are 2 modes to import content from social channels: Automatically and Manually. In the "Global" tab, hit the "Run Now" to import content from enabled and valid profiles.
In case you want to import auto, set the "Cron Interval" duration (in seconds) for each time of auto import.
Support multiple profiles for each social channel

Each social channel setting panel is devided into 1 tab, in each tab, you can create multiple profile to import content from. Create new tab and add required info and start importing. This way will help you save time incases you want to import from multiple social channels and multiple profiles.
You can enable or disable any profile of a social channel, only enabled profiles will be imported. After adding new profile, you should hit the button "Verify" to see if that profile is valid or not.

For ease of usage with the imported content, the imported content will be saved as articles: Joomla or K2 (its your call). Select the "Target Component" and assign category to import content to.

Lots of content from social channels contain graphics. When importing content, you can configure to get the images and save them to your hosting or use images from source.

If you want to import items that has images and its image size must satisfy specific rate, you can use the image size fields, configure the minimum width and height of images so only items with images that meet the defined size will be imported.
Update articles or not

When content on social channels is updated, you can select to get the updated content to the imported content on your site, just enable the "Update Article" in the "Advanced Settings" in each profile setting panel.
2. Build Social Feed layout
Once we have content imported from social channels, its time to create your social sites by building social feed layout. You can use your template supported layouts or you can go for some of ours templates that have special layouts and here is the list: JA Wall, JA Resume, JA Intranet templates. All the templates includes social feed layout with responsive layouts.
