Thx. I can't see any change, do you?

If needed I can send you backup from our host, or I can do a backup of one of the other sites where I am using the same template.

starlight Thx. I can't see any change, do you?

You may check now as I have added the above CSS in the file in isolated folder : "/local/css/custom.css" in template "kranos2"

starlight Should I remove the code from the template.css file?

Yes, You can as nevertheless, the CSS code added there isnt getting applied

Will have further look at the remaining issues and try with best of ability in finding resolutions as the template has been customized and modified to good extent which invariably brings in several code changes

Yes, You can as nevertheless, the CSS code added there isnt getting applied<

I have removed it. But I noticed I made a mistake while adding it. I added it to "ja_kranos" in stead of "kranos2". So that may be the reason it was not applied.

    Thx!

If it is of any help, I can also send you the ftp and login details of the working site where joomla has not been updated.

starlight I can also send you the ftp and login details of the working site where joomla has not been updated.

Yes, You can update the details of working site in edit fields which should make the task easy to review in depth by comparing the code reference for relative issues as seen in screencast

I have now updated the details in edit feilds.

starlight Kindly check as it seems that the site with latest Joomla version has been removed from edit fields. You may add it too so as to enable me to review both the sites simultaneously

          starlight Hi

You may try add the CSS as mentioned below :

          .row{margin-left: -15px !important;margin-right: -15px !important;} /*fixing sidebar block going out of alignment*/
          .navbar-nav > li > a{line-height:30px !important;} /* adjust value accordingly for getting menu-nav height right */

however, As I had been trying to debug for further CSS declaration variations, Your site returned with this error as shown in screenshot . Kindly review

I have whitelisted your ip. Please try now.

I don't have access to my mac before thursday. So I will add the code then and check.

              starlight

Pls whitelist IP from India and Vietnam so we can access your site and check for you.

aman204 I have added the CSS in the custom css file. I don't see any changes, do you? It may be that Joey has put the custom css file out of order, and that is the reason template fixes get reverted when updating joomla.

starlight There are 2 main problems:

Whenever joomla is updated, the template crashes, and needs to be fixed. And to do that in sha Allah the past I used the freelancer I mentioned. Can you guys please look into the issue and fix the bug that crashes the template when its updated? By crash, I mean it just gets messed up.

After Joeys work, the K2 articles did no longer work properly. Whenever I hit the save button from the admin, it just loads and loads untill the site crashes. Then it comes back after a few minutes. The same freelancer I used to fix the template, also fixed this bug, but after updating K2, it came back. So if you guys, please, can help me out, I would be so gratefull.

                  1. I check your site and see that the frontend still displays correctly, could you detail the issue here?
                  2. I go to Backend > K2 > edit an item > then Save, it also works normally (screenshot)

starlight Hi. It's rather strange You are getting problems in so many areas which are not related with each other. Have You compared Your server settings with joomla requirements?

What PHP version are You using? What are memory limits and time execution limits in php.ini? Is Your database optimized and up to date?

teitbite Can I provide you login details to hosting panel to check?

We are running PHP 7.1 and all Joomla requirements are met.

starlight Hi. I do have it. I remember from way before that You had some problems with site caching which were preventing me from doing any changes to the site. Do You remember that I had to ask You to disable it each time I was trying to fix a problem on Your site. I believe this may be a reason after that. Please disable it and try if problems are still there.

Also if there were other developers changing files than it may be another reason and I would recommend to restore joomla, template, extensions with their original versions. But remeomebr to keep the overrides.
