Our client sells sailing cruises.

He uses the waitinglist option.
In this case, he activated the waitinglist on an event, while setting the Event Capacity to 1. Then he made a booking himself, so the event was full. This way no one could actually book but only register for the waitinglist. A good way to first see if enough people were interested.

Now there are enough people on the waitinglist and my client has changed the Event Capacity to 20, so people can actually book.

But here comes the issue.
In the administrator (example: Event with ID 129) you can see the Event Capacity is 20.
On the front-end, in the list with all events, however it says 0 available spots.
When someone wants to register, the 'Event is full - register on the Waiting List' message appears.
Turning off the Waiting List option (disable) does not change this.

Please check and fix this issue.

The minimum group size should be 1 (default is 2), may I know where you can set to 0?

    saguaros My fault, sorry. I meant the Event Capacity.

    So:
    situation 1: waiting list ON, Event Capacity set to 0 > this resulted in only waitinglist entries (which was good/expected).

    situation 2: later on, event edited and Event Capacity field set to 20.
    There are 5 registrants at this time. So, we expect the Available Spots front-end to show 15, but is shows 0.

      saguaros We do have a test site. It is still on DT Register 4.2.7 - this is because we have read there were issues with the latest 4.2.8. Does your package also apply to DTR 4.2.7?

          I have done the following on our test site:
          1. updated DT Register to 4.2.8
          2. cleared cache, quick check on backend and frontend
          3. installed your packages (thank you!)
          4. cleared cache and checked frontend. The issue of the '0 spots available' is still there. Both in list- and detailview.

          Check this URL here you see both the Australia holidays in list view.

          Please let me clarify on the steps our client took before the issue arose:
          1. First he had set the Event Capacity to 1.
          2. Then he added a booking on his own account, so the event would be full and the Waiting List would kick in. So far so good.
          3. When about 6 people were on the waiting list, he changed the Event Capacity to 20.
          4. Now it appears the Waiting List is still functioning somehow.

          In addition I would like to add that disabling the waiting list option in an individual event does not solve this either. When registering you are always prompted with the announcement that the event is full and you can register for the Waiting List.

          Please fix this issue as now we see that no-one applies for the waitinglist!

                  If event has any user in waiting list, event capacity will be 0. Please check and remove them. Then event capacity will show correct number of available spots.

                  I did test on your dev site with event 129

                    What do you mean by removing the users? Change the status 'Waiting' to 'Pending', I presume?

                      On filter bar, select status Waiting then edit record that you see.

                      Change status or record from Waiting to anything you want.
